Our client in the Petroleum industry is looking for a Petroleum Pump Electrical Technician who must be approved/licensed by Weight and Measure Office: –

Job Responsibilities
• Install systems in line with the Company’s quality standards and tests equipment
• Installation of Petrol stations fuel pumps
• Installation of flexible underground piping system
• Ensure preventive maintenance completed in line with company’s quality standards, in timely manner
• Report back to Sales Manager – Petroleum any customer complaints identified in the field
• Carry out maintenance of Petrol pumps, service station electrical equipment and underground piping.
• Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions
• Responsible for, and makes recommendations to, fulfill departmental quality, safety, quantity and teamwork requirements

Qualifications Required
• Technical Diploma/Degree/ Certificate (Electrical) from reputed institute.
With a Degree must have a minimum of 3 Years hands-on experience in maintenance of petrol station equipments like pumps, dispensers etc. Diploma – minimum of 5 years hands-on experience, Certificate minimum of 8 years hands-on experience
• Must have worked in petroleum industry
• Must be registered/approved by Weight and Measures Office
• Ability to identify potential and existing problems
• Knowledgeable on Petroleum Rules and Safety regulations
• Must be self-motivated, disciplined and able to work in team.

JOB PURPOSE
• Responsible for sales and marketing for petroleum department (pumps, automation systems and mobile petrol station)
• Must continuously grow the revenue of the company
• Maximize every selling opportunity to achieve targets and build relationships with customers
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• To meet monthly, quarterly, and annual retail revenue targets and grow sales month by month
• Strategy Formulation-responsible for senior level decision making and both day to day management and strategic direction of the sales growth of the organization.
• To ensure after-sales service issues are managed in time and to the satisfaction of the customers
• To ensure technicians attend to clients within shortest time possible.
• Managing customer relationship – lead & own wholesale relationship.
• Grow the Sales Volumes-Proactively ensure steady sales growth for the company as the company retains market competitiveness and positive image as well as ensure continuous sales growth at by building a high performance sales team that delivers results, maximizing sales to the current clientele
• In charge of all marketing activities
• Tender applications and follow ups
• Development of action plans to penetrate New Markets-Initiate, coordinate, design and implement concrete strategies to ensure penetration into new markets in implementation of sales strategy
• Management of the Sales Process -Across the regions, ensuring sales analysis and market trends are in line with the company’s strategic plan.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the industry and products in details

• Compiling and analyzing sales figures and give Sales and Marketing reports to management and ensure that sales reports are updated daily – sales calls, prospects, orders, collections, etc
• Develop marketing campaigns. To identify and map attractive sales areas and plan for marketing activities around the country
• Research new markets and prospect stores to develop the grow wholesale accounts
• Negotiate payment and delivery terms with clients

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
• A degree in business related field with 2 years’ experience in petroleum industry with market knowledge
• Previous fuel pumps sales experience and a strategic thinker, previous contacts essential
• Well-developed negotiation skills
• A strong results orientation with a track record of hitting and exceeding targets.
• The proven ability to identify and develop relationships with key accounts
• A self-starter with a tenacious and autonomous attitude towards developing new business and managing targets
• Energetic and aggressive with personal selling experience with wide sales network.
• Good analytical and leadership skills, a leader who knows how to motivate and control a team
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
