Job Title: Motorbike Rider

Our client is a leading clearing and forwarding Company based in Nairobi. They are looking for a Motorbike Rider with at least one year experience in a busy organization.

Job Responsibilities
• Pack related products and deliver to customer’s premises
• Ride company motorcycle to deliver orders in time
• Promote the clients products
• Document and keep record of information on pick-ups and deliveries
• Keeping the motorbikes clean and in good working order
• Receiving orders from potential clients
• Maneuver around town to ensure fast and economical deliveries
• Ensure all deliveries are done on time and feedback given in case of delays
• Establish and maintain a professional relationship with clients at all times

Competencies and Qualifications Desired
• Valid driver’s license with an endorsement for riding a motorcycle.
• At Least 1 year riding experience within Nairobi.
• Must be 25 years of age and above
• Fluent in English and Kiswahili
• Enjoy motorcycling and be a skilled rider
• Be physically fit
• Be reliable and punctual
• Be able to work on your own
• Have good literacy and numeracy skills
• Have the ability to read and follow maps and guides, plan and learn routes
• Have a mature attitude
• Be friendly and presentable
• A basic knowledge of motorcycle maintenance is useful but not required

Primary Responsibilities
• Prepare the restaurant for service.
• Greets guests at assigned tables and ensures that each guest has been explained to the available menu
• Takes order from the guest and puts through orders to Bar/Kitchen for preparation
• Collects orders when prepared and serves to guest
• Collects all dirty cutlery and crockery from the table once guests have completed their meal
• Offers desserts and coffee to guests

• Ensure that all items received by the guest are charged for
• Must have served as a waiter within the hotel/ restaurant set up.

Primary Responsibilities
• Establish Sales targets and motivate the Sales team to achieve them
• Develop qualified leads and then convert them through the sales process into prospects and customers.
• Develop and implement a marketing plan in conjunction with the Marketing Head Office
• Create and maintain relationships with key revenue producing customers
• Proactively build up and manage monthly occupancy average of 30% – minimum 25%
• Regularly monitor levels of customer service in all areas against laid down standards and correct any deviations identified.
• Interact with clients on a regular basis and receive feedback so as to improve the customer experience.
• Builds relationships at all levels and represents the company in a professional manner, including making presentations.
